While a graphic designer or animation specialist may be able to create beautiful and dazzling images and effects, they may overlook things such as functionality and usability when it comes to web design. It is very important for a website to not only be comfortable on the eyes, but it also needs to present your important content in an efficient and user-friendly manner.
A skilled programmer may be able to develop complex systems and code just about anything, but often times they don’t possess enough of the creative vision needed for an attractive and polished presentation.
I consider myself a happy union of these two different types of skilled tradesmen, with perhaps a little more emphasis on the creative.
